Children are highly valued at Cadyville Church! Our goal in this ministry is to show these kids that they are loved by God and to help them connect with Jesus in a real way. Everything that we do, we do with the hope of impacting the lives of children (and their families) for the better!
We value your very young children and want you to feel comfortable while you are joining us. We have a nursery near the auditorium that you can make use of if you would like. The nursery includes a changing station, chairs, cribs and toys. The nursery is set up so that you can still hear the message if you would like to stay with your child. You may also leave your child with our qualified staff if you would like and they will be sure to take care of them for you! The nursery is available for newborns to age 4. Infants and toddlers are welcome to stay with us for worship, as well. Pastor Jordon doesn't even mind a crying baby (though understands that you probably do!).
Each week, children age 4-grade 5 are invited to join our Children's Church, a high-energy worship experience with our passionate volunteer staff! The games, music, and lesson are all geared to connect with younger children while helping them know how much they are loved by their church family and loved by God!
Each month, our teens meet a couple of times for fun, activities, and opportunities to serve and go deeper in their faith. Led by our industrious leader Sandee, our teens are encouraged to connect with God and embrace his call on their life. We are passionate about seeing teens live life to the fullest and understanding that God loves them unconditionally!
Cadyville Church couldn't possibly operate without the gifts, talents, and time of our amazing volunteers!
There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in service! Your contribution to our church makes an eternal difference!
Check out the following service opportunities and let us know if you are interested in getting involved!
Cadyville Wesleyan features a worship team that is volunteer based. We are always looking for new members to enhance this crucial ministry. If you sing, play an instrument, or would like to work behind the scenes (working with creative, sound, or tech ministries), reach out to our Interim Worship Director, Pastor Jordon (firstname.lastname@example.org) or our Tech Director, Jim Jock (email@example.com).
We believe in the importance of reaching children and families! There are a bunch of ways that you could help make a difference in the life of a child, a teen, or their family. These include our nursery program, Kingdom Kids Children's Church, Kid's Fun Nights, Youth Group, Bible Day Camps (VBS), and other special events. Keep in mind that all children workers must submit to a background check and meet CWC's standard for Children and Youth Workers. For more information, reach out to our Children's Ministry Director, Marcy Bova (firstname.lastname@example.org), our Youth Ministry Director, Sandie Rock (email@example.com), or Pastor Jordon (firstname.lastname@example.org)!
We want you to feel at home at Cadyville Church, and we want our guests to feel the same! If you are a welcoming person, love to make people feel at home, or just love to love others, you are just the kind of person we are looking for to be part of our Hospitality Team. This includes greeters, welcome staff, dinner coordinators, and more! If you're interested in serving in one of these areas, please let our Hospitality Director, Karen Milligan (email@example.com) know!
Outreach is meeting the needs of our community and world while expressing God’s love in ways that build relationship and provide opportunities to share God’s plan of salvation.
Outreach is essential because the world is lost in darkness and wandering with no hope. The church has the greatest message the world has ever known, but so often we hold onto that message and keep it in our churches, hoping that people will come to use looking for it.
But Jesus has called us to go to them! Like rescue workers searching far and wide for those who need saving, we have been called to go into the world and to do what Jesus did: "to seek and to save the lost!" Below are some opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people!
The women's outreach ministry is a focused group of women who work together to serve the people of our church, our community, our county and beyond! Whether they are helping a family in need, visiting somebody who is sick, bringing food to the hungry, or bringing clothes to new parents who can't afford supplies for their baby, this ministry has made a significant impact on our church and the surrounding area! If you'd like to be involved in the women's outreach, please contact our Women's Outreach director, Angela Carter (firstname.lastname@example.org)!
Cadyville Church is proud to partner with the Saranac Food Shelf to meet the needs of families in our community! Food and other nonperishables can be donated in our Food Shelf Basket in our entryway each week. Suggested donations are listed in our church bulletin and on our announcement slides each week!
Jesus called us to love and minister to the "least of these" among us. The homeless are often the forgotten people in our communities. Cadyville Church has two ministries focuses to bless those who are in such dire need. We are involved in serving the homeless in Montreal and Plattsburgh. If you would like to be part of this critical ministry, please contact our Homeless Ministry Coordinator, Mary Lou Morgan (email@example.com)!
